Franklin is a county in Kentucky. It was formed in 1795 from the following county/ies: Woodford/Mercer/Shelby. Franklin began keeping birth records in 1852, marriage records in 1795, and death records in 1852. It began keeping land records in 1795, probate records in 1795, and court records in 1795.
