Marie Endres (born 1/15/1890) was apparently a child of Martin Endres (10/20/1855 Germany – 5/17/1899; ) married Magdalena Sauter (8/16/1862 Germany – 6/1/1919 Chicago; ) based on this birth record:

I have no other information about her. I did not find Marie Endres in the Chicago area Catholic cemetery database. Magdalena had 8 children but only 3 living at the time of the 1900 census (the younger Magdalena, Theresa, and Mathilda), and we know that there were four little ones (Friedrich, Victoria, Bertha, and Albert) buried in the family plot, so it is possible that Marie died young, and was just not buried with the others. It is possible instead that this is her under another name, Elisabeth, although this death record does not indicate her parents: That said, while 1 month and 14 days does calculate to 1/12/1890, it is very possible that number is off and she really was 1 month and 11 days, so she really might be Marie? If all the above is accurate, then that makes the five babies for them who died before 1900 that I noted from the census.

However, it is also possible that was an error in the census, and Marie did live to adulthood. The death notices of Hugo, Oscar, and Charles mention a sister Marie Wendell, so that is probably either Marie Endres, or a Mary Ritter who was the daughter of Rudolph Ritter from his first marriage – Rudolph was the second husband of Margalena Sauter Endres; either way, Marie Wendell lived until at least 1963. Note that sister Mathilda Kengott's 1946 obit also mentions Marie Wendell as a sister, and Rudolph's 1948 obit mentions Mary Wendell as a daughter.
