I am researching my maternal great grandparents and anyone related to them and hope someone out there might be related to them: This is what I have so far: My great grandfather is:
Frank Alfred Silhavy b January 29,1884 in "Czechoslovakia claimed by Austria" and USA about 1910.

Married. Anna Fuchs born abt 1877 Bohemia

#1 son Frank C. Silhavy b 1908 Bohemia m. Edyth Mae ___(last name unknown, b. 1911 in Oregon,USA)& died in Oregon US.

1911 Residence Yankton SD USA

1920-1930 residence Tripp Hutchinson SD.

#2 son Charles F. Silhavy, b. 9/17/1911 (my grandfather)

#3 daughter Veronica "Vera" Marie. b about 1914 in SD & may have m. into Doney family, also of S. Dakota.

Charles Fred (my grandpa) moved to Oregon around the early 1930s parents move over to Oregon mid 1930s. His brother Frank C. also ended up in oregon at or around that period.

My grandpa Charles F. married Elizabeth C. Rohde about 1938; she was from McCoy Oregon where they resided until moving to Bremerton, WA around 1940.

I was told there were aunts and uncles of either the Silhavy or Fuchs also living in S. Dakota in 1950 or 60s including an "aunt Maria or Mary" and her husband who did not speak English and had their walls "papered with newspaper." I know Frank Albert Silhavy worked for a lumber yard at some time around WWI period in S. Dakota. I was told "there might have been something funny going on with Anna Fuchs... maybe relating to an out of wedlock birth or?" but nothing else to confirm that colorful tidbit.
