Hi I did a search and found Annie Endagwan on the 1886 census in quebec unorganized territory around temiskaming which would have included hunters point. Not sure if this is a lead for you but this is all I could see.

Good Luck Kathy

Hi Michael My grandfather was born on Temiskaming First nation reserve at Notre Dame Du nord. I have researched our family back to Moose Factory. I live in southern Ontario but have a trailer on Lake Temiskaming where I spend summers. Are you from the area. Kathy

Hi Kathy Yes I was Raised in Thorn. My Family Name should have been Larivier but that is a long story. My Grandfather Paul Larivier lived In Hunters Point he and Annie raised their family there not Osbonsing. I lived with my Granfathera and Genevieve when my father worked in the lumber camps, aswell as Kipawa with my aunt and uncle Regis and Marian Lariviere whin my dad was away working.Regis is the only one left now he is going to be 94 in Januery still going strong. His short term memory is not as sharp as it was but he can remember the old days. Yes I do know the area very well. Probably know the area where you have your trailer. Well hope to hear from you soon. Take care Mike

Hi Mike
Not sure where Thorn is? Our trailer is Lake Temiskaming at Sutton Bay. It is about 11 km outside of New Liskeard on hwy 65 going to Quebec. When my elderly uncle would talk to me about family I taped him on a little tape player. He is gone now but it is great to listen to his tales. My parents had a very good friend in Sudbury whose name is Larry Larivier. I forgot to mention that there were other people with the same last name as Annie that were listed on the census as native. I see you live in Elliot Lake. I have family there also that I have met through genealogy on the computer but never face to face. Hopefully one day.
Kathy

Hi Kathy. How are you doing? I am more familliar with the lower end of lake kipawa. Thorne is on the Ontario side of the Ottawa river, Temiskaning being on the Quebec side. I am familiar with Notre Dame du Nord. I was raised in Thorn and went to school there and Temiskaming. Bothe places are about twenty minutes from Borth Bay.

in which area did you find her? Such as Laprairi, Lotbiniere, Montreal Nord, etc. I don't Know if those are counties, Those are just examples. I went to 1981 census and that is what came but there was nothing that I thought would lead me to the Temiskaming area. Thanks Mike
