Walter Presby 'PRZYBYSZ' (b ca 1883 d ca 1936 Armada MI) m Rose Grabouska 'GRABOWSKA' (b ca 1884 d ca 1946 Hamtrmack MI). St Mary Queen of Creation, 50931 Maria St, New Baltimore MI 98947-2148 - Fr Nicholas Zukowski is currently the paster.. On June 2003 trip to MI, spoke with a very nice woman who informed me that the church records -- which included any related burial information had been destroyed in a fire. However, the workers of the church did go to the cemetery to best recontruct the burials in the St Mary's Cemetery. Both listed. The tombstone bears the name "PRESBY", Walter in grave # 2 row 6 block VII, dates listed were 1883 - 1936; Rose in grave #1 row 6 block VII, dates 1884 - 1946, interestingly the church had her surname as "HOLTYN". Possible remarriage.... NOTE: Per EI there was a Rozalja PRZYBYSZ listed left father Tomasz GRABOWSKI of Aleksandow PL to join husband Wojciech PRZYBYSZ at 206 Freeman in Brooklyn NY. Traveling with her were her son Richard and a daughter Leonora -- not sure if this is the same family who later moved to Michigan. As far as I know they only had 2 sons Frank & Richard as well as a daughter Alice.

In June 2003 -- At the Burton Library in Detroit, I did located Frank Presby in a 1957 city directory as follows: Presby, Frank (Mary), assembler, Dockson Corp, r 2736 Roosevelt Rd. When I looked at the address section to check who else may have lived at that same address or owned it was listed Mrs Mary Hartman.
Richard or Dick Presby. Last known to be living in Sinclair MI.

I am interested in any information on the sons of Walter and the children from Alice's first marriage. Or even a contact by them or their decendants. I am trying to find the connection that I know exists with my Przybysz line in Buffalo NY.
