A Robichaud family household of at least 12 members residing in the district of Gloucester was recorded in 1901. The head of household, Jean Robichaud, was born in New Brunswick in 1845. He identified his heritage as French. By 1901, at the age of 55, he had an occupation that was recorded as "Farmer". Jean's wife was Aglie Robichaud, who was 39 years old. Aglie was born in New Brunswick in 1862. She also identified her heritage as French. Jean and Aglie had 10 children, 4 boys and 6 girls. In 1880 their eldest child, a girl named Lorette, was born. That same year1880, when Jean was 35 years old and Aglie was 18 years old their second child, this time a son, who was named Louis, was born. Then, in 1882, with their two children ages 2 years and 2 years, their third child, Louise, was born. In 1901 another daughter, their fourth child and third girl, Anne, was born. With four other children in the household, their fifth child and fourth girl, Alexandrine, was born in 1885. She was followed by 5 more children: their son Wilfred, born in 1887; their son Joseph, born in 1888; their daughter Bregitte, born in 1889; their daughter Delaide, born in 1892; and their son Jean, born in 1900. Thus, at the time of the 1901 census, this Robichaud family household was filled with 10 children whose ages were 1, 8, 11, 12, 14, 15, 17, 18, 21, and 20 years.
