A Bordeleau family household of at least 11 members residing in the district of Joliette was recorded in 1901. The head of household, Godfrey Bordeleau, was born in Quebec in 1857. He identified his heritage as French. By 1901, at the age of 44, he had an occupation that was recorded as "Farmer". Godfrey's wife was Orine Bordeleau, who was 40 years old. Orine was born in Quebec in 1860. She also identified her heritage as French. Godfrey and Orine had 9 children, 4 boys and 5 girls. In 1882 their eldest child, a girl named Anna, was born. Two years later, in 1884, when Godfrey was 27 years old and Orine was 24 years old their second daughter, who was named Célina, was born. Then, in 1885, with their two older daughters ages 3 years and 1 year, their third child, Donat, was born. In 1901 another son, their fourth child and second boy, Arthur, was born. With four other children in the household, their fifth child and third girl, Ida, was born in 1890. She was followed by 4 more children: their son Romual, born in 1893; their daughter Louise, born in 1895; their daughter Lodia, born in 1898; and their son Adelard, born in 1901.
