A Robichaud family household of at least 11 members residing in the district of Kent (New Brunswick) was recorded in 1901. The head of household, Jadus Robichaud, was born in New Brunswick in 1855. He identified his heritage as French. By 1901, at the age of 45, he had an occupation that was recorded as "Farmer". Jadus's wife was Rose Robichaud, who was 47 years old. Rose was born in New Brunswick in 1853. She also identified her heritage as French. Jadus and Rose had 9 children, 4 boys and 5 girls. In 1880 their eldest child, a girl named Délina, was born. Three years later, in 1883, when Jadus was 28 years old and Rose was 30 years old their second child, this time a son, who was named Placide, was born. Then, in 1884, with their two children ages 4 years and 1 year, their third child, Asile, was born. In 1901 another son, their fourth child and second boy, Jean, was born. With four other children in the household, their fifth child and third girl, Marguerite, was born in 1888. She was followed by 4 more children: their son Louis, born in 1890; their daughter Genevieve, born in 1891; their son Médore, born in 1893; and their daughter Régina, born in 1895. Thus, at the time of the 1901 census, this Robichaud family household was filled with 9 children whose ages were 6, 7, 9, 11, 12, 14, 16, 17, and 20 years.
