A Boldue family household of at least 10 members residing in the district of Portneuf was recorded in 1901. The head of household, Alfred Boldue, was born in Quebec in 1869. He identified his heritage as French. By 1901, at the age of 32, he had an occupation that was recorded as "Farmer". Alfred's wife was Flavie Boldue, who was 36 years old. Flavie was born in Quebec in 1864. She also identified her heritage as French. Alfred and Flavie had 8 children, a boy and 7 girls. In 1888 their eldest child, a girl named Eveléna, was born. Two years later, in 1890, when Alfred was 21 years old and Flavie was 26 years old their second daughter, who was named Flavie, was born. Then, in 1892, with their two older daughters ages 4 years and 2 years, their third daughter, Maria, was born. Alfred and Flavie's first son was born in 1893 and was named Fredric. With four other children in the household, their fifth child and fourth girl, Evon, was born in 1895. She was followed by 3 more children: their daughter Phélomene, born in 1896; their daughter Evangeline, born in 1898; and their daughter Florantina, born in 1900.
