Then, in 1891, with their two children ages 4 years and 1 year, their third child, Claude, was born. In 1901 another son, their fourth child and third boy, Clayton, was born. With four other children in the household, their fifth child and second girl, Ellis, was born in 1894. She was followed by 1 more child: their son Ralph, born in 1900. Thus, at the time of the 1901 census, this McQuaid family household was filled with 6 children whose ages were 1, 7, 8, 10, 11, and 14 years.
