A LePage family household of at least 13 members residing in the district of Rimouski was recorded in 1901. The head of household, Samuel LePage, was born in Quebec in 1850. He identified his heritage as French. By 1901, at the age of 51, he had an occupation that was recorded as "Arpenteur". Samuel's wife was M Adèle LePage, who was 42 years old. M Adèle was born in Quebec in 1859. She also identified her heritage as French. Samuel and M Adèle had 11 children, 7 boys and 4 girls. In 1882 their eldest child, a boy named Edgar, was born. One year later, in 1883, when Samuel was 33 years old and M Adèle was 24 years old their second son, who was named Sammuel, was born. Then, in 1884, with their two older sons ages 2 years and 1 year, their third son, Adrien, was born. In 1901 another son, their fourth child, Arthur, was born. With four other sons in the household, their fifth child, Oscar, was born in 1887. He was followed by 6 more children: their daughter Amélie, born in 1889; their son Antonin, born in 1890; their daughter Eugenie, born in 1893; their son Ivon, born in 1895; their daughter Ivonne, born in 1897; and their daughter Juliette, born in 1900. Thus, at the time of the 1901 census, this LePage family household was filled with 11 children whose ages were 1, 3, 6, 7, 10, 12, 13, 15, 16, 18, and 19 years.
