A LePage family household of at least 12 members residing in the district of Témiscouata was recorded in 1901. The head of household, Joseph LePage, was born in Quebec in 1858. He identified his heritage as French. By 1901, at the age of 43, he had an occupation that was recorded as "Farmer". Joseph's wife was Jeulie LePage, who was 42 years old. Jeulie was born in Quebec in 1859. She also identified her heritage as French. Joseph and Jeulie had 10 children, 2 boys and 8 girls. In 1885 their eldest child, a girl named Eugenie, was born. One year later, in 1886, when Joseph was 28 years old and Jeulie was 27 years old their second daughter, who was named Marie Anna, was born. Then, in 1888, with their two older daughters ages 3 years and 2 years, their third child, Joseph, was born. In 1901 another son, their fourth child and second boy, Jean Astin, was born.
