An Aquin family household of at least 11 members residing in the district of Vaudreuil was recorded in 1901. The head of household, Odilon Aquin, was born in Quebec in 1860. He identified his heritage as French. By 1901, at the age of 41, he had an occupation that was recorded as "Journalier". Odilon's wife was Bertha Aquin, who was 41 years old. Bertha was born in Quebec in 1860. She also identified her heritage as French. Odilon and Bertha had 9 children, 4 boys and 5 girls. In 1886 their eldest child, a boy named Odilon, was born. Two years later, in 1888, when Odilon was 28 years old and Bertha was 28 years old their second child, this time a daughter, who was named Louise, was born. Then, in 1889, with their two children ages 3 years and 1 year, their third child, Adolphe, was born. In 1901 another daughter, their fourth child and second girl, Albertine, was born. With four other children in the household, their fifth child and third boy, Zephirin, was born in 1893. He was followed by 4 more children: their son Léo, born in 1895; their daughter Léontine, born in 1896; their daughter Lucie, born in 1898; and their daughter Hélène, born in 1900.
