Sorbian: possibly also from a pet form of the personal name Kula The Sorbian surname (in both possible senses; see also 1 above) is found mainly in Germanized forms such as Kulick and Kuhlig. Jewish (from Belarus): habitational name from Kuliki now in Belarus.
