About Veli Lošinj & Mali Lošinj, Croatia Deaths, 1822-1859
Lošinj is an Adriatic island in western Croatia. It was once part of the Republic of Venice and then part of the Austro-Hungarian Empire until 1918. From World War I to World War II the island was under Italian rule. In 1945 it was annexed by Yugoslavia and in 1991 left the Yugoslav Federation as part of Croatia.
This database contains extracted death information from the Catholic parishes of Veli Lošinj and Mali Lošinj, two towns in the Primorje-Gorski district of the island. The extracted records cover the years 1822-1859 for Mali Lošinj and 1828-1857 for Veli Lošinj.
