Sweden, Kugelberg Newspaper Clips, 1888-1904

This database contains a collection of newspaper clippings collected by Otto Kugelberg (1843-1916), a renowned Swedish family historian. The clippings are comprised primarily of birth, marriage, and death announcements from 1888-1904.

The clippings can be searched on by surname. Each entry contains an image of the newspaper clipping where more information about the individual and event may be gathered. The amount of information provided in each article or clipping will vary. Some are quite short, only a few lines long; others are several paragraphs. Some even include a photograph of the individual.

Kugelberg’s collection of newspaper clippings is now housed at the National Library of Sweden (Kungliga Biblioteket) in Stockholm, Sweden. Unfortunately, no source information, such as the names of the newspapers the clippings come from, is provided.
