Stettin, Poland, Jewish Deportation into the Lublin Area, 1940-1942

On the night of February 12, 1940, many Jewish families in Stettin awoke to the dreaded appearance of Nazis in their neighborhood. After only allowing the Jews one suitcase, a watch, and a wedding ring, they were transported by train to the Lublin area. Once they arrived at the train station, the men, women, children, and elderly were forced to march about 30 kilometers through 22 inches of snow in subzero temperatures.

Once the survivors were settled into their new living conditions, and prior to many continuing on to death camps, a registration was prepared. This collection contains the information from the registration and includes the person's name date and place of birth, occupation, and former address.
