In 1930, the Jewish population in the small manufacturing community of Prostejov (called Prossnitz by the Germans) was approximately 1,442. By the time the war was over, about 1,200 of them had been killed by the Nazis. This collection contains records of those who lived in Prostejov in 1930 and were victims of the Holocaust. Details include names, dates of birth, and titles taken from the cemetery plaques.
