The clan’s founding ancestor, Mok Hyo-gi, was a Koryo general. Chinese : variant of Mo 1. Dutch: variant of Mock 3. Hungarian (Mók): from the secular personal name Mók, probably a pet form of Mózes, Hungarian form of Moises.
