Americanized form of Slovenian, Croatian, and Polish Kuk. Americanized form (mistranslation into English) of French Lécuyer ‘squire’ (see Lecuyer).

Americanized form of Korean and especially Chinese (Cantonese) Kuk 5-9 or of its variant Kook 3-6.
