Krag Family History
Krag Surname Meaning
Danish, Norwegian, and North German: from krage ‘collar’ either a metonymic occupational name for a maker of collars or a nickname for someone who wore a distinctive collar.
Collars were worn by wealthy people and in Denmark at least this also seems to have been a nickname for a nobleman or a courtier.
