Mulryan Surname Meaning
Irish: Anglicized form of Gaelic Ó Maoilriaghain ‘descendant of the devotee of (Saint) Riaghan’ a personal name probably based on the word rí ‘king’.
The family were chieftains in Tipperary and Limerick.
