Nazer Family History

Nazer Surname Meaning

English (Kent): unexplained. Theoretically it might be a topographic name for someone who lived near or on a headland from Middle English ness nass naiss (Old English næss ness) ‘promontory headland’ + -er. No medieval evidence for this name has been found but compare the synonymous Nass and Ness and also the headland known as The Naze in Essex.

Muslim: variant of Nazir. Muslim: occupational name from Arabic nāẓir ‘overseer headmaster’.
